I’ve been decorating events with balloons for 11 years now. I’ve seen parties that are very much decorated and simple party with less decoration. But they both turned out to be great party.
I think decoration doesn’t need to be too fancy to have a great party. As long as the place is clean and presentable your party will be awesome.
To decorate your party, decorate with what you have. Most things around the house can be used as a good decoration.
Head on to your local second hand store and buy some linens and napkins to keep the cost down. Or buy second hand decor from facebook marketplace or kijiji.
Skip on the helium balloons, helium is costly. Just used air blown balloons or replace balloon with paper pompoms.
If you have to buy decoration, buy the ones that can be reuse for your next party. Reusable ones are better than the ones you tossed away right after the party. Its cost effective and eco friendly.
I’ve noticed that decorating a party takes too much time and then after a 2 or 3 hours event, its just destroy and became trash.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on decorations. The important thing is to have simple decoration. A clean and presentable party place is better than over decorated one.
You can choose to use decoration that can be brought home by your guest. Or you can use to decorated your home after the party.
For your next party, don’t focus too much on decoration. Just make it simple and it will still be a memorable party.
