The moment i learned decoupage, i fell in love with this art. I decided to learn more by watching videos and looking at all of the amazing products that were made through Decoupage. Decoupage [dey-koo-pahzh; French dey-koo-pazh] according to Webster dictionary the art of decorating surfaces by applying cutouts (as of paper) and then coating with usually several layers of finish (such as lacquer or varnish). There are so many things you can recreate and repurpose using this art. From jewelry, home decor, wood, canvas, tiles and even furnitures , the possibilities are endless. And you can use any kind of paper, (tissue paper, rice paper, wrapping paper), old cards and calendars, cardstocks and even fabric. I really love doing this art, i’ll be happy to show and teach it to anyone.
