Have you heard of shampoo bars or have you tried using one?

I am still finding ways in using eco friendly products to save our planet. Just doing my part and making a little impact. And one way that I’ve found is using shampoo bars. Yes, they exist. I didn’t know until recently that i’ve been looking for ways to live with less chemical products in our home.

I am new in using it and on my experience they work good just like the regular liquid shampoo that we use. And they have so many options to choose from and i love that they are made from natural products. Free from harmful chemicals and mostly that they are not on a plastic container.

Shampoo bars are a great alternative to the ones we always used, the liquid shampoo. It’s economical because they last longer than the bottled shampoos. And they are very eco friendly, because every naked, unpackaged bar that you use saves up lots of plastic bottles from the landfill – and that has a very positive impact to our environment.

They are other advantages of using of using shampoo bars. They are self-preserving, meaning no synthetic chemicals are added to keep them fresh. They work gently on your scalp as like the liquid shampoo. And you don’t have to worry about spills when you’re travelling.

WHO INVENTED SHAMPOO BARS?

Lush co-founder Mo Constantine and cosmetic chemist Stan Krysztal invented the first shampoo bar 20 years ago. Their company Cosmetics to Go, that later became LUSH, applied for and won the patent to protect their new invention.

Inventors realized that the shampoo bar acted as the perfect based for all kinds of beautiful natural ingredients. That’s why there are now several different varieties that you can choose from.

Shampoo bars are easy to use; simply rub the bar between wet hands or straight onto your wet hair to create lots of lather. Then you can just massage this foam into your hair and scalp as normal, before rinsing your hair. After use, you just leave it out in the air to dry or in a can to keep the bar clean and dry.

NOW THERE ARE WIDE RANGE OF SHAMPOO BARS IN THE MARKET TO CHOOSE FROM. YOU CAN DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU.

You can buy form online sellers and retail stores or order from Amazon.

If you haven’t tried shampoo bars yet, what are you waiting for? Try one now to make a difference to your body and to our environment.
