People loves to celebrate every event all the time. We all love parties!
Every one wants to party and celebrate every significant moments in life. From baby shower, gender reveal, birthday, wedding, anniversary, and even death. Different places and different cultures have different festivities. Can’t name all the events that we celebrate. It’s like everyday there is something to celebrate. Yes, everyday is a celebration. We are people who love to gather and chat with each other over good food.
But can we celebrate without breaking the bank. Celebration without over spending on decorations, invitations and too much food. As a balloon decorator, i love all people to celebrate with balloons and decorate their events. But I have some ideas, that might not fit on my business. I am in to decorating but not on overspending too much a party.
I have some tips that I’ll share with everyone, so the next time you have a party, you do not spend too much money.
- USE SIMPLE INVITATIONS. Avoid overpriced party invitations, you can make your own or maybe just send invitations through facebook or email.
- DO NOT OVER DECORATE. Do not spend too much money on decorations. All you need is a nicely decorated and presentable place to celebrate.
- FOCUS ON YOUR GUEST. Think of the people that you need to invite on your party. You don’t need to invite all the people that you know.
- DON’T PREPARE TOO MUCH FOOD. Don’t prepare too much food that will be wasted.
- BE CRAFTY. You can make your own decorations and party favors. Handmade decor and party giveaways are one of a kind.
- BAKE YOUR OWN CAKE. You can bake your own cake or buy in store. Theme cakes are expensive and taste the same.
- USE REUSABLE. You can used old decor. For plates and cups, you can used reusable ones to cut down on waste.
- KEEP IT FUN. Plan on entertaining with games and music.
- NO TO THEME PARTY. Theme parties are costly because you have to matched plates, cups and decorations.
- SKIP THE LOOT BAGS. Think of other party favor to thank your guest.
I will be making a blog post on each 10 tips i mentioned above.
In my opinion most parents now are feeling pressure to turn a one of a kind party for their kids. And kids are getting used to all the unnecessary things that they see on other kids party.
But any celebration can turn out to be great even if you don’t spend too much to it.
