Party Tip: Use Reusables

Parties are good in creating unnecessary waste. For sure plastic forks and paper plates are really convenient.

But those disposable serving wares at parties are not good for our environment. And there is definitely a better way of serving those refreshments on your parties.

It’s so easy to buy those matching single use party ware. And really easy after the party, just toss in the garbage and its all done. But trying to use the non-disposable one is another way that is affordable, economical and eco friendly.

Buying those disposable maybe cheaper but the amount adds up, making them expensive and not money saving in the end.

When you buy supplies for your party, think of the waste that you will produce and its effect to our environment.

Using the one that you already have at home is better for your wallet. Because you don’t have to keep on buying every time you have a party.

I suggest that you use the one that you already have and buy extra if you needed more. It’s okay even if they are not matching pairs, your guest will just be happy that there is refreshment.

Some people make party box, its a collection of all reusable items that is stored away for parties so that you don’t have to buy disposable. Just pull them out and reuse, reuse every party then store them away until the next party.

The next time your throwing a party, plan to have a low or zero-waste party. Head on to your local thrift store or garage sale when your on the look out for dishes, utensils, reusable napkins, cups and glasses, reusable straws, serving dishes and tablecloth.

Its great to be saving extra money and being environmentally friendly even when you’re throwing a party.
