Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
In our lives sometimes its hard to give it all to God,to entrust everything to Him. We say we trust in Him, but we tend to do it on our own, with our own strength and our own way. We often tell God “to take the wheel”, but we always sit on the drivers seat.
There are times we trust, but we cannot wait for God’s answer. We hope and pray to God but does not wait patiently for His answer. We sometimes forget that God is working behind the scene. That we can wait and rely on Him. We impatiently work and do things on our own.
I know when we pray, we all want God’s answer right away. It’s like instant answer, “I want this Lord, and I want it now”, but God does not work like we human works. He holds the master plan for our life, He sees the whole picture and He knows whats best for us. What He has promised, He will do it and do it on the perfect time.
There are instances that we pray and trust God but we go out and answer our own prayer with the answer that we want. I know we have to do our part but we have to let God, and wait patiently on Him.
For me trusting involves waiting. If we trust in God, we will wait for what he’s gonna do. Trusting that He will finish what He has started in our life. Believing that God is at work in our lives.
Philippians 1:6; “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
May we trust God to work His perfect will in our lives-not trusting in ourselves, not in our own abilities and skills. Lets commit our ways to God and not live our life in our own strength.
Let us commit our way to the Lord and trust Him to carry out ALL that He has promised to do in our lives…
