Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:6
From this verse, I am reminded to seek God while there is still time. I know that God’s presence is always here, always near , but while I still have life, I have to seek Him.
We are racing against time, both our life and time are moving. As what we always heard, “time flies”. Its like our life is moving so fast and even the events in our lives are passing by so quickly.
I know that, every human life will come to an end and time will stop. But while we still have the chance, the time, the strength to seek Him, lets seek Him with all our heart.
NOW is the time to seek God, its an opportunity, passing opportunity. Because if we don’t seek God now, tomorrow or later might be too late.
We should take advantage of the present opportunity, and the knowledge and time we have on hand.
Time is running and time never comes back. I hope I seek God with all the time that I have left in this life. Everyday is an opportunity, a time to seek God while God gives me life.
What does seeking God means? In our life, we know very little about God. But God is inviting us to know Him more and to get close to Him. Seeking Him means, turning to Him and desiring to be in relationship with Him. To seek God is to come into His presence to find fulfillment, strength and help.
Why should we seek God? We seek God because He created us so that we could know Him. So we can find our meaning, purpose and satisfaction.
Jeremiah 29:13-14a says, “‘You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD.” God asks us to seek Him.
I believe every human being which God has created are to seek Him. How do we seek Him? Through prayer, bible reading, worship and fellowship we seek God. In seeking HIM we come to know Him more and more, and we bring Him glory.
