Grocery stores offer plastic bags for the produce that you buy. When you unwrap everything at home you end up with so many plastic bags. Produce bags are the extremely thin, colorless, clear bags we see in the fruit and vegetable aisles at supermarkets. They are a contributor to too much waste.
On my quest to live greener, I’ve decided to replace those single use produce plastic bags with reusable ones. They are a great alternative if you’re thinking of cutting on plastic use.

Before you go out there looking for reusable bags, there are some options before purchasing them.
If you know how to sew, you can make your own and also give them as a gift. Homemade is always cheaper and you can make it on your own style and size that you want.
Or you can purchased them online, there are various options for sizes and color and fabric type. Some local farmers market offer them too.
