Why camping is good for you

Summer is here and camping season is in. People waited for the snow to melt away and the weather to get warmer.

Lots of people wants to enjoy the outdoors and have fun under the sun with family and friends.

Lets go camping!

But why go camping when you can just sleep comfortably at home. Not having to prepare camping gears and worry about setting up tents and preparing food.

Maybe camping is fun, as what I can observe, lots of people do it. I guess they get something from it.

Camping is an outdoor recreational activity that involves staying overnight in a protective shelter out in the nature away from home. People use basic shelter such as a tent or a recreational vehicle.

It is a great way to get back to basics, reconnect with your family and be closer to nature and enjoy the great outdoors. You just need few basic camping gears a bit of creativity.

But there are more reasons to camp than just getting some fresh air and reconnecting with nature. Camping has many benefits that can improve your health, relationships, and more.

Here are some of the benefits of camping:

1. Builds stronger bond between family and friends

Spending time outdoors has been shown to strengthen bonds with family and friends. You get to enjoy each others company in close proximity. Gadgets can still be brought to camping, but at least your focus is not in it but on all other sorts of activity. Other people choose to really be unplug and disconnected. To relax and enjoy life without the distraction of cellphones, computers or television.

This is because being around plants and trees releases certain chemicals in our brains that make us feel happier and more relaxed. In addition, physical activity can release endorphins which make us feel happy as well!

Camping helps you relax physically and mentally. Gives your body and mind, time to slow down and reflect on life.

Camping creates lasting and unforgettable memories. Everyone, specially the kids will remember something that they did, learned, observed and experienced. All fun memories stored on our brain that are good to remember for years to come.
